Mabel & Co. Postcards – Box of 6
These cards and boxes are hand letterpress printed on a treadle powered press, built around 1860 and, following restoration, still going strong some 160 years later.
The utilitarian postcards are inspired by British functional design of the 1940’s and 50’s. The text is typeset in Johnston Sans, a typeface designed in 1913 by Edward Johnston for the London Underground and still in use today. The postcard has a traditional layout on the reverse.
100% recycled letterpress card A6 size, British made FSC envelope, natural linseed ink.
